Hey everybody (anybody?), As much fun as it's been to write all about myself on the internet and marvel in my own greatness, it's getting a little old. So, if you're reading this i want you to post a comment and tell me what you did today, yesterday, or something really interesting (about you), it could even be a lie if you want. Ah heck, it doesn't have to be really interesting, it can be totally boring. Peter and Trudy don't have internet readily available (how on earth is he surviving?!), Jaan and Becky have their own Blogs and kate has a boyfriend and a car ... it's getting a little lonely on here. I want to know what's going on back home (or elsewhere on the planet) so let me know!

well, lets see, whats been happening. we're painting the piano room. im getting ready to sell my car. ive got to pay my friggen ticket next week which equals no money afterwards. working heaps to get more money. i think thats about it...

We are in Surfers Paradise enjoying the the post flood environs, quite refreshing to see that it's not always 'Beautiful one day, perfect the next'
Mum says there is an 'abundance of too much here' .... go figure?????
We are spending some long awaited familt time together...I'm on the blog, Mia, Josh, Lauren & David are in the pool, Mum and Anna are walking on the beach.
We went to Tamborine Mountain yesterday, the minute we got in the car, Josh asked how long it was going to take and what time we would be back!!!!
We did se a 2000 year old tree .... the kids said to take a photo of it with mum .... to see if we could tell the difference.
Having a good time .... wish you were here, miss you, love you.

Welllll ... today was a day off in Paradise.
9 holes at Surfers Paradise Golf Course.(Actually only 8, we had to return the buggy (that josh nearly overturned)before the Pro Shop closed.
It was fun anyway. Josh can actually hit the ball in a straight line. Not too bad actually. He would still rather play 'obstacle' for the school soccer team. (It's a valued position)
Tomorrow we are up to Big Brother land (Dreamland) for a day of frivolity and getting wet I suppose. We are going to Muschy's for some Thai delicacies for dinner.

Josh will be on Australia's most wanted.
For the first time mum let him pack his own hand luggage ... do you smell trouble comming!
Yep ... you'll never guess.
We all arrived at the airport on time, check in, go through security ... Josh jumps to the front of the loooong que (you know how it goes 'who's gonna tell a little kid to get on the end of the line....'
Anyway, as it goes they scan his bag and pull it aside to search it, he has a can of Crazy Foam Spray. They confiscate that then ask him to step into the interogation room, Mum and Mia went in with him I waited outside the cafe expecting them to be out in a minute. Ten minutes goes by, a Federal Police Officer comes out with Mum's drivers license ... I thought ... hmmmm better go check this out.
I walked into the interogation room to find Josh almost in tears, being asked about the gun in his bag .........?
Holy crap ... he had a cap gun in his bag ... which, of course you use caps ... that are made from .... gun powder!!!

2 Federal Police Officers, 1 Airline Official and 1 Security Guard, plus the Taylor Gang - wanted for crimes against the colony.
The FPA proceed to search JT's bag after receiving approval from his parents, in their quest to find further evidence of Terrorist activity.
Contents of said bag :-
1 Squishy ball
1 Pack of playing cards
1 Balloon - deflated
1 Spongebob Teddybear
1 Used toilet roll centre with a balloon taped to it - POTENTIAL WEAPON
1 Magic Balloon - raised suspiscion
1 Book of Card tricks - Could be written in code
1 Electronic Game - 20 Questions
1 Card Game .... The Worst Case Scenario ... how appropriate!
Alas, nothing too suspiscious.
However we should expect a call from Canbera in the not too distant future. It is likely no action will be taken but the incident has been noted by the FPA.
Sooooo JT has a record!!!!
The journey home was uneventful.
.... except for one thing ....
we missed our flight and had to spend 2 more days in Surfers Paradise ....bugger!
